SPKA St. Andrews Kite Festival 2010

Information about the 28th of November 2010 - West Sands, St. Andrews, Fife

This year the annual St. Andrews Kite Festival is planned to be bigger and better once again, promoting all kitesports to the public.

If you've ever wanted to find out what flying a power kite is like, the kite festivals FREE 'Try a Fly' sessions will get you hooked on this sport. Running throughout the day with fully a qualified and insured instructor and open to anyone young* or old.

Static displays by the Kite Club of Scotland of their huge and handmade kites are sure to draw your attention to the skies, meanwhile powerkite, kite landboard and kite buggy demonstrations will focus your eyes on the unearthly jumps, spins and tricks that can be performed using a power kite to lift and pull.

The day will start at 10am and conclude at 3.30pm.
